Presented in fantastic condition is this highly unusual Wittnauer "For Shriners" limited edition dress watch. Produced exclusively for members of the Shriners fraternity, this piece features an incredibly detailed custom dial incorporating the iconic Shriners scimitar, sphinx and crescent emblem, making it a fascinating collector's piece that is rarely seen on the open market.

Finished in a classic two tone stainless steel case and bracelet, the watch is complemented by a champagne dial, applied crystal hour marker at 12 o'clock and a practical date complication at 3 o'clock. Powered by a reliable quartz movement, it is currently keeping excellent time and is ready for its new owner.

Dial

The original champagne dial is undoubtedly the highlight of this watch and remains in fantastic condition with very little signs of wear.

Rather than traditional hour markers, the dial is dominated by the official Shriners emblem, featuring a large gold scimitar (curved sword) stretching across the upper half of the dial, complete with red ribbon detailing around the hilt. Beneath sits the instantly recognisable red crescent enclosing the Egyptian sphinx, finished with the five-pointed star beneath, all executed in vivid enamel colours. Completing the design is a faceted crystal hour marker at 12 o'clock, minimalist black minute track and a discreet date aperture at 3 o'clock, creating one of the most distinctive novelty dials Wittnauer ever produced.

Case

The stainless steel case with gold plated bezel is presented in excellent condition showing only light signs of careful wear. The polished bezel retains a rich finish while the brushed steel surfaces remain clean throughout.

Crown

The original signed crown operates perfectly throughout all functions, allowing smooth adjustment of both the time and quick-set date.

Movement

This watch houses its original Wittnauer quartz movement which is running perfectly, keeping excellent time and is fitted with a fresh battery.

The original stainless steel case back remains in excellent condition and features its factory engravings including:

Strap

The original two tone stainless steel bracelet remains in excellent condition with only light signs of wear and complements the watch perfectly. It fits comfortably on the wrist and retains its original finish throughout.
